It all depends, going to paris in June. Will only shoot film then. But when shooting surf or bodyboarding, it is digital. The cost of film for surf is just way too high.

Like some other sayd, i shoot digital for day to day, or when i'm exploring new places where i will come back. For some nice events, or friends meeting, i love film. Even more since i discover that the 1985's Pentax Super A of my dad can handle my DAL 35mm f2.4 (i'll give a try this week end, i'll post some pictures )

I get a bad feeling when I look down another 15-20 years, as to how much and what types of film will still be available. I get a worse feeling when I consider is 15 years too optimistic...

Judging from the number of people at a local camera swap meet last weekend, we have nothing to worry about. I was even surprised at the amount of student aged people buying all the vintage film gear in all the various formats.

The film selection may dwindle over the next decade, but I’m sure there will always be some available for us. If not then I guess I’ll have to find another hobby.

Film will never go COMPLETELY under as long as companies like Adox and Bluefire/Murano stick around. It might get rare and expensive, but it will still exist.

I think that most years if I added up the number of actual images I would say more digital than film especially if attended sporting events or some wildlife shooting. If going by what I grab if I am going out to shoot for enjoyment usually film although the DSLR may be brought along as well. Also going to be starting to shoot paper this summer but think that goes to film side.

I have always used film exclusively.
There's no compelling reason for me to go digital. To me the disadvantages outweigh the advantages.
However something like the new Fuji X100 but at a much lower price might entice me to experiment.

Film and digital for fun. Some things I find digital easier (e.g., learning to use a long lens, long exposure night photography), often I like the feel of my film cameras. It was fun wandering around Venice, for example, with an MX, a LX and my Lubitel 2 surrounded by thousands of digital happy snappers.

For work, nearly all digital. Often, they are record shots which need to be dropped into databases, labelled and all that. As I sometimes photograph 300 artefacts in a day, it is also quite a bit cheaper. I do, however, take both digital and BW film for certain types of photograph where archival security is an issue.

For work-related stuff, it's all digital. For my personal use, I'd rather use film (about 80% digital, 20% film) though; I spend so much time behind a computer at work I just want to get away from one now and again, and slow down.

a good thing is a camera that handle "KA lenses", so you will be able to chose aperture by the body, so you can use all lenses, including those without aperture ring like the DA and DAL

I've just done some film shots with a Pentax Super A (proud owner inside :P ) and with the DAL 35mm f2.4. I think it will give a great rendering !

Dont have much time to shoot lately, but when i do i grab my lovely SuperA with Ricoh 50mm. Especially now when my digital gear is with my girlfriend
