My SFXn won't focus with one of my manual lenses

First of all greetings to you from Korea, I'm a new member.

I bought an SFXn recently, and am going thru my first roll of film

I have 3 manual focus lenses but one of them won't focus
(you know the > O < indicator that aids manual focussing)

The problematic lens is Zenit Helios 58mm f2 44K-4 (K-mount, no A mode)
It meters fine and takes pictures, but won't work with focussing.

I wonder what the problem is?

The other 2 manual lenses focus fine, they are Takumar Bayonet 135/2.5 (no A mode) and chinese made 85mm/f2.

There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the lens or the body considering the situation, so I'm guessing old cameras and lenses are sometimes just plain incompatible somehow?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

maybe it doesn't detect (at all) that you have well done focusing or not.

You'll have to trust your eyes
