Thanks for posting this Nesster. You continue to keep us well informed.

I have a K2 and its nice to see an old Modern Photography review of its inner workings. The beauty of the K2 is it continues to work well 35 years after this review was written. This speaks well of the design and construction of this old Pentax gear.

I always thought that those exploded views, whether they're of aircraft, people, machines or what have you are some of the most amazing things to see. I always admire the people, mostly unsung, who can imagine and create them.

Very interesting, thanks for posting Jussi! Un-chartered territory for most of us, except Eric! I just got one of my K2DMD’s back from him yesterday and he replaced the main circuit board, which looks like number 27?

Hey Nesster

Do you have an article such as this for the MX? Forgive me if you have already posted one and I missed it.

I don't recall one for the MX... I may have another Pentax blown up though (I'm not a systematic collector of these, but rather wanted to get a smattering of magazines from the different eras)>
