Hey I'm in your shoes, or about to put them on. I was thinking of picking up OM-1 precisely because of that 24mm lens. Still thinking about it actually and probably need to be talked out of it.
Or maybe I need to talk you further into it...

Isn’t there a Leitax adapter for the OM lenses to K mount?

I have a Olympus trip 35 that needs a little TLC repair. A ripper little camera. And a couple of K1000s. One I bought when they first came out with the serial number on the top. Been shooting a bit of film again lately as I have now got some lenses I can try, auto - manual; Also to go with a couple of Pentax DSLs. Absolute fun. Just get the film processed then scan them in on a quality scanner. Still in discovery mode with both DSLR and film world.

Started by searching for m42 lenses for my M43 digital camera and while falling down that rabbit hole, surprise surprise, turns out the cameras that come attached with these lenses are pretty interesting. Currently have the following in use after CLA by Eric.

SP F
SP 1000

Also have an SP and SP 500 in the queue for potential CLA, and another SP 1000 that is not fixable (prism separation and water damage) and now a parts camera. I could see picking up an SV or S1 for the fully manual experience.

In other cameras...

Lumix GX7 my daily driver mirrorless digital
Yashica FX-D
Mamiya Universal (impulse purchase - very rough, but very cheap and simple enough it should still work)

The Olympus trip 35 lives again. The aperture leaf's were sticky and stuck to smallest setting. And the low light gate didn't work and fixed that too. Yet to put a roll of film through it. As with all lenses and cameras. Do take them out for regular exercise to avoid these issues. A Sigma 17-35mm f/2.8-4 auto/manual lens which I use for DSLR and K1000 had a sticky aperture diaphragm too. Was like this from recent purchase. This took some effort to get going. Love using this lens on K1000 in some street photography. Gives very good results.

I always hated how the Mamiya folks would go on about how much the mirror on the Pentax 67 shook.
"Um, that's because it comes down on its own..."

The RZ is a nice camera, but I never really got on with it.
Now the Mamiya 7 I liked...

It's a behemoth for sure and you will know when it fires if you don't use MLU!

I like the Mamiya 7 because it's so light but I didn't like the rangefinder aspect but I could have learned to use it if I had stayed with it.

So, no more OM-1, but now I've picked up an Olympus XA. Rangefinder patch is still bright enough to work with. Though I just accidentally tripped the shutter on frame #1 picking it up and looking at it a moment ago, I really need to remember that it's very easily actuated!

I got a Spotmatic SP II with an SMC Tak 55/1.8, and this combo is the only one I have taken some pictures with yet.
I also got an ME with a broken meter and a P30N which I have not tested at all yet, both in sets with lenses I was after.

I should put a film in both and see if they're still good. I would think so of the P30N because it looks like the owner before me has been taking good care of it.

No black FM3a?

That XD11 looks so good in black. Did u have to re-leather it? Every original one I've seen needed it.
