Another interesting question is which lens people use most. At the moment, I'm rediscovering seeing the world at focal length 55mm.
Ah, what we USE, not just what we HAVE. That might also include HOW they are used. Like, my Herbert George Official Girl Scout box cam can accommodate both 120 and 620 spools, so I mostly use it for respooling 120 film onto 620 spools. The Kodak Brownie Twin 620 can accommodate a 135 cart, so I do sprocket-hole panos with it. The Praktica FX3 with its waist-level VF is ideal for street-shooting with my Mir-1 37/2.8 or Tokina 21/3.8. But I don't use the old cameras enough. I need to start a camera-of-the-week (COTW) strategy.
And that's how I approach my 200+ lenses lately, too many of which have been under-used. LOTD (lens of the day) means I grab one and use it for a day or three. Some LOTD's quickly make it into my carry-always bag. Others are shunted into the SELL pile. But each imposes its own discipline, opens its own window on the world, has its own character (flaws). The world DOES look different at 40-45-50-55-60-65mm etc. And I have enough enlarger-copy-projector lenses in the Fifties to justify buying a focusing helicoid. All that takes is money...
