N.I.B is excellent if it is so....did you see those NIB K1000, ME Super, LX and a few others late last year on Ebay, they fetched some good $$$$ if i remembered correctly, i expected NO ONE to bid on them...boy was i surprised how many were bidding and how high the $$$ went...bastards on this forum most likely, Pentaxians are "frugal" my backside

Makes perfect sense, but it never occurred to me that an old NIB could be in worse (operative) state than a daily user. Suppose it's similar to why my father's old Hi-Matic, left in storage seemingly forever, while in immaculate physical shape, is inoperative… Meanwhile, my collection of beat-up Pentaxes work perfectly, having seen constant use… Interesting!

Enjoy that camera, should be a treat breaking out a body frozen in time…
