Pentax MV Battery Compartment...

It appears to require some sort of key to open, which I don't have. Does anyone know either

a) where I might find one, if that's even possible now,
b) who, if anyone, I might look to to open it (for instance, Best Buy, although I HIGHLY doubt the Geek Squad could do much in this particular field)
c) alternate ways to open it
d) anything else that might help?

Alternate ways to open it:
If it is stuck for good, unscrew the three screws that are keeping the whole bottom cover in place, and then soak it in vinegar for a while.
