is my ZX-30 and lenses worth anything?

I have a REALLY nice Pentax ZX-30 body, a Pentax 28-80 MM (part number 27957) lens, a Tamron AF 100-300MM (model 186DP), hood for lens, filter, bag, boxes and manuals.
Is it still worth any $ ? I haven't used them in years, probably 10 or more. I think I bought it all new in 1998, right before everything went digital.

If they are not worth any $ can the lenses be used with a new DSLR ?
I bought a really nice camera, never took any classes to use it or understand things like exposer times and probably don't understand 50% of what this thing can do.

Yes your lenses will work on the Pentax DSLRs. As for what they are worth, you will need to do a little homework (Ebay completed auctions, Pentax Forums Marketplace Sold).

I sold a ZX-10 pretty fast for $25 to a forum member here.

Since the lenses will still work I am going to try and find a decent DSLR.

Any suggestions on a DSLR? Don't need pro quality, just something that will use these lenses and will take decent pictures. Something easy to use as well.

Guess I need to go lurk at the DSLR forum and see if the marketplace has a decent used DSLR.

ALL Pentax dSLRs "will use these lenses and will take decent pictures". Ease of use? None are difficult for those with any photo experience; even n00bs can handle them. Check the dSLR reviews and comparisons, under the CAMERA tab at the top of this page. Cheers!

All of the Pentax DLSRS are easy to use and produce awesome pictures!
Your lenses will work fine in any of the cameras; so get a KX or a KR [the newest amateur]

I found myself in the same position with a 1998 ZX-10. I was lucky enough to find a 5 or 6 year old Pentax *istDL, which is a 6 megapixel DSLR in a used camera shop. I spent all of $50US, and got an 8MB SD card and a fresh set of lithium AA batteries as part of the deal. The old lenses work perfectly, including autofocus and autoexposure. Since I'm beginning with a DSLR, this is fine for my purposes. And the lenses are quite capable of producing excellent quality, so that the 6 megapixel doesn't seem to be a problem. It might not be necessary to buy new.
