Admittedly, that's about the only good attribute of this shot. But it gave me some good experience for the next one.

I also like it a lot. Let's not underestimate the difficulty in getting the focus spot-on when playing with such narrow DoF. The shape of the face is well preserved as the focus smoothly transitions to the out-of-focus area. I think it's very well done.
