The wreck of the Peter Iredale and an abandon ship along the Columbia River near Astoria, OR. Points of interest I stop by and shoot at least once a year on route home from the Oregon Cost and hope that one time I can catch everything right for a good shot.

Looks like you managed it then. The second shot is my favourite.

Thanks. This version taken in 2009. You have to beat back the blackberry bushes using your tripod as a machete and you'll bear the scars of getting to the only spot to take the shot. And if the tide is up (as in the 2013 shot) your choice is balancing on some rocks. The ship is in a cove and moves around with the tide. And there always seems to be fallen trees and branches in the way.

Awesome stuff Tuco!
FWIW, I like the 2009 best of the three.

Here's one of mine from a few weeks back. It's my good friend John reviewing images on his E-M5. Don't worry, I've got hooked on film too

Thanks. That one the conditions were better in every way.

I'm liking shots from that G2. I've heard the 45mm for it is a very coveted lens? I could see myself with a camera like that.

That's a really fine picture- one of my all-time favourites on this thread. One very small quibble is that, at least on my monitor, the sky fades into white at the top edge of the image. A very slight highlight burn might work a bit better for Web viewing purposes. Might be a different story for a print.
