I know that pic! it's on the rangefinder forum!

However my humble contribution is my avatar shot with a Zorki 4K and a Industar 61LD.

Good lens the 61LD, I should look for a SLR version.

I was looking at your Zorki self portrait earlier today.
I now have a I-61 L/D and 2 different versions of the J-8. I haven't used any of them enough to have an opinion as to which I prefer, but my I-61 L/D is a great lens.

Very nice! If you ever want to part with your Zorki 4, drop me a line and I will take it off your hands.

Nice grain and contrast, composition, too. And I love those Beetles, that is a good one. I laughed at the caption, but figured it out. Lovely. Curves and straight lines doing well together.

Which developer did you use?
I took it to my local lab (Seattle Photo Lab, prints, Panda, Panda Lab,). Wish I had my own darkroom.

I wondered what that lab was like, I went past it last year when we were staying in the area. It was closed (after hours) and would love to have gone in to take a look around.

They did a great job. Well, as for me I don't have a dark room. Only very bright kitchen + bathroom and change/dark bag. Works great with daylight safe tank and saves a lot of money.
After seeing your photo I'm interested in trying delta 3200 in 35mm, since I use it fair bit in 120.

RIP Amber

Here is a photograph I took in 1999 of my daughters with our new (at the time) puppy Amber. After 14 years, Amber passed away today, so I am remembering her in photographs. We are all very sad today...

Kodak Retina 1a, Schneider-Kreuznach 50mm f2.8, Kodak Tri-X @ 1600

My condolences. I know it can really hurt to loose a pet that has become part of the family. I hope you have more of these pictures to help you get over the loss because they keep the good memory alive.
