Excellent photo and an excellent neighborhood for photography! Have you ever been to the area SE of PSU, say east of 4th and south of Market? There are some interesting buildings, fountains, and public art.

This is a scan of a wet print from the early seventies .
The film would have been HP5 and the camera a Chinon with a Chinon 135/2.8.

Thanks Steve.
I've been around that area, but only briefly. I'll have to check it out next time I'm up there, if possible.

Bronica ETRS, Zenzanon PE 250mm f5.6 lens, Fomapan 400.

I wanted to replicate the look of some photos in an old mountaineering book I bought, and Fomapan was perfect for the job with shallow contrast and very angular grains. Panda Photo Lab in Seattle did the high-res scan (and are making a print) and cleaned up the negative another lab botched.

I really like Ilford FP4, it's one of my favorite B&W films. I have a roll out for developing that I shot with my 67. I'm excited as it's my first 120 roll of FP4.
FP4+ is indeed lovely stuff, and even more so in medium format. It's my favourite B&W film.

These are all medium format FP4+ in various cameras, either 645 or 6x6.

More Acros. I remember these were taken with the SMC 50/1.4 Tak.

I didn't much like the Acros when I first finished scanning it, as the tones seem flatter than those of FP4+ or T-Max 100, but the more I look at them the happier I am. They're the sharpest, least grainy 35mm film results I've ever got, and considering the meter in the SP1000 doesn't work properly and all the exposures were guessed, this has probably affected the results too.
