What year was your Kiev made (first two characters of serial #)? Mine is early '60s vintage is pretty nicely light-tight. Jussi (Nesster) has two (1957 and mid-'70s) and I don't believe he has had any issues with his either. It is my understanding that quality took a huge slide in the mid-to-late '70s with the 4M and 4AM models being pretty much abysmal.

Yeah, mine was made in 1980. If I had fallen in love with it, I would probably have replaced it with an earlier model because I do know the quality is much better (almost Contax quality) but apart from the lens, which I think produces great shots, I don't really like using it. Perhaps I'm not a rangefinder sort of guy

Nice shot Colton, I envy your 67. I much prefer your fp4 shots in MF. I thought that your 35mm fp4 "After Harvest" shot was a bit too grainy for my taste
Maybe the yellow filter had an effect?

Thanks.
I think the "After Harvest" photo was actually quite underexposed. I usually get much less grain.
But I agree, it's pretty awesome film in 120.

These are from my first roll of Arista EDU 400. It seems pretty nice to me.

gary2881, love that one of the farm equipment. I've run 2 rolls of Arista 100, and it does seem good so far to my eyes. Here's another one with the 6x7. 105 wide open.
