Yes, which means I can use it with a metered camera such as the Bessa R.

Steve, some time maybe I send it to you to make the comparison? I do have a J-12 in Contax mount, and a Contax Nex adapter, but I doubt the lens will fit...
I almost bought a Bessa L, then I realized that my Jupiter-12 wouldn't fit.

I could do that

I think the Canon P would be quite happy to serve as test bed.

Find a good machine shop! There are a couple that specialize in camera-related stuff.

Hmm, I think we are stuck with what is on the market, and what can be cobbled together. The interest in the old camera tech is so limited, I just don't see any way to convince any current manufacture of parts/supplies.

On a happy note, I did get my custom cut GG yesterday, and the difference between the glass and lexan is quite noticeable. I could use the lexan if I had to, but the glass is so much better.

Processing Ektar 100 today. Fingers crossed.

Nice shot and camera!

I had to Google to see what a Spatraflex looked like, I was half expecting to see Kirk Douglas show up!

The owner of the bike is becoming lax. He left one set of locks unused

A couple of shots working without a light meter. I don't use the Sunny 16 rule but rather the "Sunny 11" rule and adjust exposure depending on conditions from there. Perhaps it's my latitude (~N48 deg) that is a factor.

If you have a one-degree spot meter or equivalent you may notice the Sunny 16 rule places your middle gray (mid day) exposure at EV15. That's fine but that places shadows 4 to 5 stops below the middle gray exposure ( depending on the shadow surface) where I live and what I've measured. I prefer to place my shadows higher hence the Sunny 11 rule for me.

These shots are near sunset and I adjusted 2 stops to account for the lower light level at this time of day. I'm using 400TMY shooting it at ISO 100 to compress the highlights. I shoot my Pentax 67 with a WLF and not having to meter a scene makes things that much quicker to do.
