On this page alone, I count four KX users, all excellent photographers too, judging by the photos displayed here. I recently acquired a black KX, and my first roll (Astia hoarded years ago) went off for processing Monday. Meanwhile, I might as well share another photo of my wife taken with a Spotmatic SP with Super-Takumar 85/1.9 on Ilford PanF.

Now she's starting to look like Phyllis Dillar.

Where once we toiled

This is one of a set of images from around "the barn" where my project had its base for several years. It is odd working there on my own now when it used to have 50 people coming in and out. The set is on my ipernity account.

Where once we toiled (1) par Kris Lockyear, on ipernity

Pentax LX, CHS Art 50 film, SMC Pentax 50mm f/1.2 lens.

Looks like a great print

Yup, especially the printing is something I really like doing. Seeing your shot slowly appear as you slide the paper in the developer always has a certain 'something' going. Besides, no b&w shot looks as good as a fine chemical print on good quality paper.

Congrats! I just did my first develop/print film excursion so I know the joy you're feeling. My last darkroom expedition was 5 hours in the bathroom. I now see why it pays to build a room from scratch!

Thanks Arnold. The light was good so I was shooting at f/8 most of the time.
