Nice fog, tuco, we're socked in down here too. I hope to get out into the hills now that hunting season is over.

Thanks. Do those covered bridges in your area, fog and this fall season make for some good opportunities?

Well, bridges are fun any time, but spring or summer is probably best. The trees around a lot of the bridges are cottonwood and ash. They are well into loosing their leaves now, and what is left is mostly yellow. The grey skies are also a problem. Not so good for color. In the real thick fog with b&w their could by some interesting shots. This is starting to be a good time for waterfalls. The moss is getting green and in good shape. And, the grey sky is a big soft box. There are quit a few waterfalls in this area with pretty easy access.

This is one of my favorites, just down the road from my house.

New York is heaven for just wandering around and photographing interesting sights, people and events. I could happily go back there and spend weeks doing nothing else.

A couple more I shot this summer and just recently got round to (print and) scan.

Pentax K1000 & FA-31mm f1.8 (I think), Fomapan 100 @ ISO 200, Microphen 1+1.

It was a test roll, film and camerawise.

Every time I pass the Scio exit on I-5, I glance over and think of those covered bridges.

Great tonal scale and clarity.

A classmate developed it in Pyro, you'd be amazed at what he got out of it! We observed it on the light box and nearly burnt our retinas, that's how sharp it was.
Overall I'm really liking its response. I'm shooting my next at nominal speed. We'll see!

Face rock is very nice, Tuco. There are five covered bridges near Scio. Also there are covered bridges near Cottage Grove.

Most of my BW is done with PMK Pyro. It's a good developer for highlight compression work too.

I had at least four rolls of 135 B&W film waiting to be scanned and today I finally got through three of them.

MX, T-Max 400 at EI 200, Vivitar 28mm f/2 (turning out to be a very useful lens on film). Cross-posted to the Vivitar thread.
