Dacora Matic 4D, an 'autofocus' camera that zone focuses based on which of the 4 shutter buttons you select... Tri-X in D76

Thanks. My first roll of BW film ever really. Very pleased with the results. They just have a 'feel' to them that no amount of Lightroom trickery can reproduce. My wife was even skeptical until I showed these to her. Here are a couple more from the same roll.

I believe that this one was with an orange filter on it

This one was shot semi into the sunlight coming through a window above her

Again, I believe that this had an orange filter on
Great shots......... delightful subject

Nesster - that OOF has a nice swirl.

Expose for the shadows, develop for the highlights... This scene has a very large DR - and I did in fact expose for detail in the valley floor. This is PanF+ @ 50, I developed in HC110 solut'n F at 20C, but only 7mins 30secs - 2 minutes less than recommended. This is the first time I've tried to do this. I wouldnt mind some CC on the result (and suggestions).

Thanks

Flexaret Va. Lomography Earl Grey 100. (Probably Fomapan 100, based on the box markings.)

Yes, it is. I haven't tried any of the other Foma films in 135 format but the 100 (80 really) is nice.

Tri-X in D76 straight; Bessa R with a Canon RF 50/1.8 lens. I developed another roll at the same time, in the same tank, but the camera is a Dacora Matic 4D. Question comes to mind is the higher quality lens/camera always better than a lousier one?

I've tried the Lomography 400, which is also Foma, and liked it enough that I plan on buying more* once my stock of other B&W films gets low.

* Though actual Foma-branded rolls this time, as I can get them cheaper than Lomography's repackaging.

Lomography B&W 400 (Lady Grey) is Kodak T-Max 400. It's just the ISO 100 (Earl Grey) which is from Foma.

Just 135 or also 120? For some reason I thought my box said "Made in the Czech Republic", but I could be very well mixing things up.

I've seen that one before, but I've never entirely trusted it to be up to date as some of its colour film listings don't match the ones I have.* That doesn't mean I am not incorrect on the 400, which seems likely.

* Unless Kodak also produces film in China now.
