Canon AE-1.
Tamron Adaptall-2 28mm f2.5. (A lens that I don't much like on digital, but which seems OK on film.)
Ilford HP5+ pushed to 1600. (Lab scanned.)

While this was roughly what I was going for, I noticed with this roll that the AE-1's metering pattern doesn't seem to put as much emphasis on the centre as I would have expected. Some shots with bright lights off to the side edge of the frame had suggested exposures that were way off.

Kodak Retinette with PlusXpan I think. From Darling Point Sydney 1961. Long before the Opera house showed in front of the bridge.

Good shots. Why no information on camera or film?

ZX5, A135/ 2.8, film is either Delta 400 or TMax 100 pushed to 250. Cannot remember as I shot a few rolls that day.

Had some Agfa Rollei IR 400 film developed. Really hit and miss results, some photos were both blown out and under exposed, and others turned out great like this.

One of the photos I'd wish had turned out a little better.

I have a roll of that and the Ilford in MF that I'm waiting for an opportunity to use. Do you have much experience with IR? Any tips?

I've shot a few rolls of the Agfa IR film, so I think I'm learning at this point but my exposures are still pretty hit and miss. I've been getting a lab in town to develop. For an IR effect you need an IR filter, I use an R72 filter, and shoot at 6 ISO. It seems to me this works out well in bright sun, and results get murky in shady conditions. Definitely bracket your shots. Do you have an R72 filter?

I've found my best IR shots are mid day, in full sun with the sun behind me. If the sky is going to be in your shot, it's best if there's some blue - mostly overcast seems to result in pretty blown out sky. Could also be the lens I was using has some flare issues, a 28mm Tokina M42. I'd say in general results from it are hit and miss. Some great, some the contrast just isn't there.

Good luck, post your results! I'd love to try that film with a MF rangefinder, one of my biggest annoyances with shooting IR is having to constantly take the IR filter on and off. It's totally opaque, so you either shoot blind or have to take it off to compose. Also, the results I've had are nice, but grainy - the extra resolution of MF would be nice to combat this.

Here's another one from my last roll - there are a number more on my flickr. I'm hoping to do a custom scan of this to coax more range out of the photo.
