Here is one while out getting to know this Fuji GSW690III with 100ACR.

I love the tilt on this one. Don't know if it was intentional, but it works well.

Thanks. I dunno. The tilt just felt better so I did it. Those tire tracks were so thick I think that guy used up 20K worth of miles in one spot.

I found the scans of a roll of HP5+ on my work laptop HD. I'd forgotten that I'd scanned them, must have done it months ago.

These were taken with my Olympus Mju, must have been a couple of years ago now, in a semi-abandoned building that was in the process of being either renovated or stripped out to be demolished. I like photos or urban (and rural) decay and they usually work well in B&W film. These are probably the first ones like that I've taken with a compact though.. They were scanned with my K3 and DA 35mm ltd.

Nicely done, the range in this photo is great! Too bad the plane's wing is cut off.

Thanks. Yeah, that would have been nice. I was physically constrained. There was a fence I could not pass and that's the most I could get without heads of people in the near frame. And the Sun was at wing height in altitude right on its tip and I didn't want the flare.

IMO the pic works fine as it is.

Thanks. I'll scan one with the wing tip included for the fun of it. That was my first shot of the scene.

But another one while I was there

Here was my first shot at the loading scene. The camera has a fixed lens so you have to foot-zoom and that day too many people in the way. I'm sure I'll go back on another day and practice some more.

for me the propeller and people packing chutes make the first more balanced. The tones in the front of the plane were particularly striking. Medium format B&W at its unique finest imo

I don't think I posted this pic that I've taken last year:

LX with M85mm f2 (I think), yellow filter and XP2.

First roll off my new yashica-C which I basically traded for my Yashica Mat.
The caffenol was weak, and the negs were quite thin, so this is the only one that scanned well.

First shots from the Zenobia with the Neo-Hesper 75mm lens.
About half way through the roll, I realized that one of the lens struts was bent, and fixed that. I also noticed that the shutter was too clean, and I had to lube it.
I may end up using D76 instead of Caffenol, or perhaps a one shot liquid for B&W, Caffenol is fun, but the LOMO uncertainty is beginning to irritate me. :-)

Last shot on the roll, was a flash double exposure, unintended. (slight crop, and convert to B&W, no other edit)

It was really dark, the sun was setting through the fire smoke, I could have opened up a stop.
(cropped, lightened, contrast and sharp)

untouched except for B&W convert

Untouched except for B&W convert

Untouched, as scanned. Underexposed could have opened a stop.

That last one is pretty cool.

HC-110 developer can practically be used one-shot and has a really long shelf life as well as Rodinal. PMK Pyro has a 10-year shelf life and both are one-shot developers too, FYI. I stock all three because of that attribute.
