Fond memories, Phil. I was a grad student at UBC in the early 1980s and it looks like not much has changed.

Steve
For me UBC is a great place to walk around on weekends when it’s quieter, I always try and bring a camera along. SFU is also good, though the location is not as nice.

There are a few new buildings/stores on campus and lots of new housing along the parameters, but UBC is still going to be close to what it was like when you attended. You would feel right at home! CITR is also still chugging along and still my favorite radio station in Vancouver.

Phil

Good stuff, like the parallel/vertical lines in the images.

Phil
Thank you, I didn't even notice the trend.

Spotmatic, Super Tak 35F/3.5 and Tri-x 400.....I saw this street performer and found a nice plain wall to shoot this against. One of the best street performers I have seen and the film really seemed to work well here.

Shot this with my Canon AE-1, FD501.8, Ilford Delta 100...This film was so slow combined with a slow shutter and I got some funky motion blur...So much so it distorted his head while he did a flip.
