You go away on a trip for a bit, and you come back with all kinds of rolls of films waiting for you at the lab. Going through them one roll at a time to see what I've got.

This roll wasn't quite as expired as the Ferrania P30 I posted a while back, but not by much. Was also a bit of a test roll to see if I could use 620 rolls for feeding in my Pilot Super without respooling [answer: not really; after about 6 shots the feed spool isn't held tight enough and the film advance jams] and if the emulsion wasn't too damaged, seeing as I've got another 3 or 4 rolls of the stuff.

Dirty, yes. Needing extra light, also yes. Damaged/fogged, nope.

K.W. Pilot Super.
K.W. Anastigmat 7.5cm f3.5.
Kodak Verichrome Pan. (Expired 1970.)

I already spammed this images on many threads but I'd like to add it here.

It comes from the test roll I shot with the coffee grinder, aka Kiev 88C, it's a bokeh test for the CZJ Biometar 80mm 2.8, shot on FP125 (the only film available in the shop) and scanned and developed by Ilfordlab. Not metered as I don't have the metered prism (that is coming).

I used a 4,5x6 back and got 15 exposures, happy to see the post soviet monster works well and since little trains have been popular in the last pages of the thread I assume this one was not out of place.

Roll #2.

I should ask the lab if they've changed how they're processing the Fomapan 200 I drop off. It used to be that all my shots came back a bit flat and low-contrast — like they'd been developed at ISO 100 by mistake — but both Foma rolls I got back this time are much higher contrast..

Zeiss Ikon Nettar 517/16.
Novar-Anastigmat 75mm f3.5.
Fomapan 200 Creative.

EI=25 for sunny days.

Pentax S, Takumar 55mm 1:2.2 DD-Xfor 7 min.
Many old cameras have 1/500 as thefastest shutter speed. On bright days that means squinting down the aperture to get correct exposure. Inside the box of PanF, the chartshows an option to develop to an EI of 25. With this low film speedwe can use F4 with 1/500 in bright sun.. The latitude also becomes wider, suiting the harsh shadows on such days. Of course the grain is also very fine.
This photo, while lacking any artistic merit, shows saturation only on the hard reflection of the white truck hood, and detail in the shadow of the boxes.

Looks good.

Rollei make an EI 25 film (RPX 25, I think). I've been meaning to get hold of some for a while now as it will be handy for the sunny Spanish summer where even EI 100 is far too fast to get shallow DoF without messing around with ND filters.

I gave my 'gift' Spotmatic F an outing recently with some outdated Kodak T-max 100 of 'dubious date' I was given. I rated it at 80 ASA and processed in Rodinal 1+50

Yep. RPX 25.

There's a thread on it with some sample shots: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/8-pentax-film-slr-discussion/307848-rollei-rpx-25-a.html

RPX 25 is wonderful film. It's range is not huge, make sure to avoid overexposing and you will get great results from it.

From my new to me Pentax KX with SMC Pentax-M 50 f1.4 lens. Film: Ilford Delta 100 processed in HC110 B. All shot in Toronto On. Canada.

The SMC Pentax-M 50 f1.4 lens blows me away, I shoot with Nikkor, Canon FD, Olympus OM and Minolta MC Rokkor mount 50mm lenses and they can't keep up with that this hunk of glass can do.

There was also an Efke 25 ISO b&w film I tried once, not sure if it's still produced. As well as Adox CMS 20, but that needs a special developer.
