Actually, I am a fan of that movie (have the DVD) and in fact that is exactly where I got the name for my alias. Tuco was the ugly.
Yep Eli Wallach, I've been meaning to ask you if you got "Tuco" from that movie. G&B&U is also one of my all time favorite movies.
Phil.

ES-II, SMC Takumar 50/1.4, Fomapan 400 in D-76. The Foma is expired in '09 (I think) and even when fresh should be metered more like ASA 200 - 320. I had the ES-II at 320, as I figured I'd go for the grungier look. I should have metered at ASA 200.

I have a mixed relationship with Foma 400 - when good it has a nice vintage grainy effect. But it can also be a disaster, especially this expired stuff. Foma 200 and 100 are much more forgiving and accurately rated films than the 400.

@Nesster, I really like the way the subject, the grain, and the black and white complete this shot. Very nice. ( wish I had that Pontiac(?). )

I'll have to walk by there to see what make it is, Pontiac may be right thanks! When this film is right, it's very right in a grainy vintage way... but the expired stuff especially has a temperament!

Here's another one from the same expired roll of Foma 400:
