Went axe-throwing the other week.* Took some shots. Most didn't turn out, but these ones did.

* Exactly what it sounds/looks like: throw a hatchet at a target & try to score better than the other person.

Spotmatic II.
Super-Multi-Coated Takumar 55mm f1.8.
Ilford HP5 Plus pushed to 1600.

Here are a few more from my travels this summer. These are from my favorite place in Rome. I wish I could visit the Pantheon everyday. It is such a beautiful place.
Really love the simplicity of that last one. Well done.

Thanks,
That axe throwing looks like a lot of fun. One of those bars just opened up here in Halifax. How did you do?

I ranked 7th out of about 12-16 of us. I could hit the target consistently by the end of the night — better than some — but just not with any real aiming ability.

A question for those here: has anyone shot Foma Retropan 320 before? Got some back, and it appears to be definitely underexposed. Trying to figure out if it was the metering that was off, or if this is another case of Foma being overly optimistic about the film speed.

(It's also grainy as hell, but I was told to expect that possibility.)

Sorry, I stopped buying Foma film after finding out how curly the negatives are, at least on Fomapan 100. There's a Foma group over in Flickr you could try.

Early one Sunday morning in a graveyard. Pentax ME Super; Pentax K24mm 3.5; Ilford Delta 400; Epsom V550. The K24 is a marvel.

Photographers favourite in Ottawa, the now closed to the public Prince of Wales bridge, shot last year with my 645, Rollei Retro 80s and I think a 200mm SMC-A lens.

And a two test shots from my Large format camera with a 65mm super wide angle. Foma 100.

I am very impressed with all the shots going up. They are all fantastic. Bobbotron is the Prince of Wales bridge the bridge between Ottawa and Hull (or is it Gatineau now?) right by the Le Breton Flats?

A few more from my trip to Rome this summer. Shot on either an MX with FP4 or K1000 with HP5. Developed in HC110.

On a side note I just got some XTOL to try instead of HC110. Anybody have any experience with it on FP4 or HP5?

Nice photos dracluff! Classic grain.

That's right. Sadly the city closed it off earlier this year, sighting safety concerns.
