Scaled down it looks fine. But its pretty rough in the shadow areas at a larger size compared to box speed.

Tri-X in D-76 1:1, KX, M 50/1.4 - in other words, can't get more vanilla than that!

I think I actually used the DOF preview on the KX with this, but unfortunately I did not close down the aperture for a wee bit more DOF for the hand. SMC-M 50mm f/1.4, Tri-X, D-76 1:1

Isn't that the "passerelle Debily" in Paris ? The bridge for pedestrian only, not far from the Eiffel Tower ?

Oh! My! I certainly hope you posted this on the surreal thread (https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/mini-challenges-games-photo-stories/91825...otic-edge.html).

In regards to the DOF...I like it the way it is. Having the immediate leading edge of the hand a little blurred enhances the sense of surprise and shock.

Have you tried a debandin plugin?
I'd try: Topaz Denoise or Nik Software Dfine

Very nice shot. Reminds me a bit of Ralph Eugene Meatyard's work.

Was it had to knock the head off the statue?
