A pair from the same roll of Delta 400. Once again, I'm unsure about the presence or absence of a 2-stop orange filter; I know I was shooting with it that day, but it's possible I removed it for these shots due to the lower lighting.

Here is my Canada Day 150 shot taken back in 2009 of the Parliament buildings in Ottawa. (I posted it before years ago, so apologies)

I used a red filter to darken the sky black, so the maple leaf in the flag is also white. (KX shooting Fomapan R100 processed by DR5 Chrome)

Phil.

Happy Canada Day to all the "Canucks" out there!

When parliament flies the white flag, it cannot be good

A few from my latest roll - S1a with TriX 400 in Ilford chemistry. Not the greatest match in history, but it did work and I sort of like the grain. Plus with my developing tending to be a bit patchy around work and other responsibilities it seems to be a wiser solution than leaving a gallon of D76 stock solution lying around for months unused.

I need to get hold of a couple more rolls of this stuff and see how it behaves in Caffenol.

Here are some recent photographs taken at the Vancouver, Washington train depot. The depot and the bridge were opened in 1908 and have seen continuous service since then. Pentax K1000, Ilford HP5.

These are from a roll of Tri-X Pan that expired circa 1981. Shot at around EI32. The results are much thinner and grainier than the 120 roll of similar age I shot last summer.

I was just reading an article the other day which stated that it was seawater which helped Roman mortar to survive for more than a thousand years.
