I decided to join in with the "Roll in a day, a day in a roll" group on Flickr. Their latest day was last Saturday (21st April) so I shot a roll of Orwo 125 ASA BW film using my Pentax LX and my 43mm Ltd. I thought it would be fun to add a twist to the day by trying to use just one camera and lens on the day, and using a different combo each time I do this.

Here are some of the results. The rest (duff images and all, as per the group's instructions), are on flickr at roll in a day set.

Best wishes, Kris.

Great set Kris, really like the fourth road shot! I will have to try a roll of the Orwo 125.

Phil.

PS The sheep looks like it's ready to "take you down"!

That's a great set, Kris, +1 on what Phil says. That's also an interesting concept for a group.

Not sure you can still buy it. I was given some out of date rolls which had been languishing in the bottom of a friend's freezer for years.

Thanks for the nice comments.

Kris.

I'm looking for a scanner now - You all have so many fine shots here I've appreciated, and this one is pretty terribad, but I was excited to do all the processing.

K1000 SMC P-K 17mm f4.0 Fish-Eye / Ilford HP5 Plus 400 ISO / f16 / 1/500s Developed in D-76 1:1 @ 21 C for 12 mins hand agitated every minute. I shot it with my Kr and SMC P-A 100mm f4.0 macro to get it digital.

This set up

took this a minute earlier

The Holga 120 WPC had Fuji Neopan 400 in it, I developed it with the dregs of D-76, The Konica C-35 also had Neopan 400, but I developed that in HC-110

yeah... lets go with that or... unskilled, that works too haha.

I hear scanning is not ideal for b&w because of diffraction. Any opinions here for best way to transfer film to digital?
