This particular shot was from a few years ago but yes, following solid winter rain.

Hi all, I'm slowly starting to get moving again in photography after a couple of months off after the birth of my son.
Also finally shooting some FP4plus again and hooray, no strange spotting!

Got myself an Olympus om10 to go with the Pentax mg and the nikon f something. Still no film. But the batteries work so I can at least pretend to take pictures.

A bit more distortion then I'd like for this shot, but ah well. It's the fastest & widest wide lens I have for this body, so what else was I going to use?

Pentax 6x7.
Super-Multi-Coated Takumar/6x7 55mm f3.5.
Agfapan 100, expired 1984.

Looks good. Did you over expose to compensate for the age of the film? Grain looks pretty good!

Yep. I exposed it at the equivalent of ISO 12.

This is not the first mid-80s Agfa roll I've shot, and I've always found them to be pretty good considering the age. I'd take it over Kodak rolls of similar vintage, to be honest.

That's a very nice camera, and you have used it to great effect here. The exposure seems to be spot-on.

Thanks. After using the lightmeter app for a while now, I trust it for all kinds of exposures. I find myself reaching for the GX617 a lot perhaps because it's a new challenge to find horizontal compositions. And at 4 frames per roll, you can really burn through the roll$ of film.

An experiment with shooting 0.8ASA film that didn't quite work for many reasons, some of which were my own fault.

For starters, I decided to load this in a different tank than usual, and screwed up the reels — scratches everywhere, and only really the first few frames developed at all. Secondly, I used HC-110, which probably isn't ideal. On the other hand, I had that and Rodinal handy, and HC-110 was the only one I could find any times for.

Overall, a very low contrast film. (I've bumped it a bit in LR.) Despite selling a bunch, the local shop hadn't actually seen many developed rolls come through last I talked to them. Speaking to one of the lab guys after, the one who likes to try really odd films, he also mentioned getting very little contrast — more gray & white than black & white, and definitely not something you'd want to project, despite developing as a positive.

Anyway, this shot was probably about 3 seconds at f22. Highlights are a bit blown, but I didn't know how much, if any, compensation to add to the shot after going over 1s.

Exakta VX1000.
CZJ Flektogon 25mm f4.
Svema Super Positive (aka Micrat-Orto).
