I'm digging that. Both the middle gray placement and use of the square format.

I wonder how long the old pole, transformer and overhead power line will be around.
Thanks Tuco. I have always liked the way Agfa APX has those smooth greys. At least that is what I have always got from APX. I may have been using a light yellow filter on this shot, but I can't remember.

KX + SMC K 35/3.5 + Fomapan 200 + a botched Caffenol Standard home development (11 minutes). Scan via Epson V600 and post via Darktable 3.

That is a wonderful photograph. So simple in a way, and then with so much more. The geometries are great, and then the box, the writings, the door, that tree!, the roof, the textures. You saw it, and thank you for sharing that moment!

APX 25 or RPX 25?

The 25 ISO Rollei films I have are RPX but maybe there was an older APX.

There was an APX 25 but it was discontinued some years before the proper APX 100 was discontinued. Perhaps Colton should have wrote:- Agfa APX 25 Long expired

I have one, 120 roll of Agfa Pan 25 remaining with an expiration date of July, 1990. Do you save it or use it up?

It's the older Agfa APX 25. It is expired, but it's gorgeous film.

A few years ago I found 5 rolls of Agfa APX 25 in 120 for a pretty low price. It's all been expired for years, but shoots pretty well. I have 3 rolls left... and now I probably can't shoot anymore

It certainly is. Expired or not, it looks great.

I'm sure the roll will still take good pictures. It's just when do you feel you'll get the best from the last roll. Tomorrow there could be better subjects to use on but it's too late, kind of a thing... arg. Man, that's gotta suck about not shooting you last rolls of the stuff.

Ya, over the past 10 years I have amassed quite the collection of older interesting expired film (probably around 350 rolls). I would find it here and there for very little money. Now I am probably done with my photo taking days There is still so many different films I want to try...

A forum posting feels like a terribly inadequate way to respond to this, but it's what I have. I've learned a lot from your uniquely personal photographic perspective and imagination. I feel privileged to have several of your prints, zines, and most recently your fabulous book. You're an inspiration, in more ways than one.

Thanks friend
It is what it is. I haven't had enough energy to go out for months now. Getting the book done was really important to me, and I am grateful for everyone that has ordered one.
