I've gotten that same kind of highlight haze/bleed/whatever you call it with HP5, I rather like it in situations like that.

Thanks you guys. I normally do this with my GX617 especially if the exposure gets less than one-second. With this Noblex, it takes 128 seconds to take a 1-sec exposure. You can also take, say 30 or 32, 1/30 exposures to shorten the time a little. And that's how you have to do exposures longer than one-second too. That's too much for me.

I would get that effect to some degree with Delta 3200 as well.

FYI that light bleed is called halation. Some films are very famous for it eg Cinestill 800 with its red halos around light sources.
Lomo Babylon that i just shot does it very nicely (or not depending on whether that is what you want) for a B&W film. It even does it in daylight as can be seen in the shot of the church I posted just above.
Check out the cross on the right side that is glowing as the sun hit it just right.
