The negative has managed to get dusty after 21 years in/out of the archival sleeve, but here's one of my early film images taken around March 2000 on Tri-X. The image doesn't really interest me, but I managed to win a local competition with the print.




This one was from the very first roll of film that I ever processed on my own, sometime around November 1999...........Probably took me an hour to get the film onto the reel, inside the changing bag, and it's covered in finger prints and creases.

I've had good luck washing negatives in lukewarm water with just a single drop of dishwashing liquid. I used my fingers to gently rub over the film after it had been in the water for 30 sec or so, then rinsed it off and dried.
