These were on a roll of film that I shot with my SP-F and SMC Tak 50/1.4 in late 2010, early 2011. It was a roll of Arista EDU 100 B&W that I shot at 400 iso thinking I would develop at home in Diafine. A 2 stop push usually works great for most B&W films in Diafine but after I finished the roll, I read that this film didn't really work well with Diafine, and that it didn't push process well either. Discouraged, I put the film on a shelf thinking I would figure something out. Nearly 2 years later, I decided to send it away and had the lab push it 1 stop in developing. I think they turned out great and I'm sure happy I developed it.

Really good. It doesn't hurt to pull out the cute kid card either.

I was out doing some testing. Two of these are x-posted on the MF thread. With this exposure index used on these films, there is no need to meter outside in the Sun. I used the Sunny 11 Rule for any direction I pointed the camera and for both films.

Lancaster Castle has been a prison for some 900 years.
It has just been decommissioned as such.

Awesome results and great photos.
I assume you did special developing?
On all those TMAX 100 6X7 shots of Yosemite I posted, I just used Sunny 11 metering and mostly they turned out great. I can't develop myself any more so I just send it out.

Thanks. Yes, the development time was cut by 1/2 from its normal time. The recipe I follow was given for the developer I use. I can't say if it applies to all or some other developers. I'll be trying the other two developers I stock someday. I should note that the resulting grain is much finer than normal too. I'd say 400TMY ends up with grain looking like 100TMX.
