About the dust spots, just use a blower to get rid of dust on your negs (or just blow with your mouth, just watch out for spit). And with wet prints, you won´t see too much of dust anyway if it isn´t too big, the little curvature of the light hitting the paper will get rid of it.

Its not loose dust, its the stuff that dries on to the emulsion when the film is hanging to dry. And yes, I do dry it in a dust free environment but you can't get it 100% perfect. As for the curvature of the light helping.... well thats true for a diffuser type enlarger but not so for the condenser enlarger I use because I find that gives me better prints.

I've pretty much taken no picutres for 2 or 3 years, until I found my old camera a few weeks ago in the cupboard. I've always liked B+W a lot. Here a couple of pictures I've just got back.

Cold War relic:- The former nuclear weapons storage area at RAF Barnham, Norfolk, UK. This base was used to store the "Blue Danube" freefall nuclear bomb in the 1950's and early 60's. The small buildings each housed one fissile core. The core was mated with the main weapon body in larger buildings like the one with the gantry. Wow, thats super cool, thanks for the pics. Its interesting how due to associations, older subjects look more appropriate in black and white photography. Incidentally, I wonder how much ambient radiation you would need before you would see aberrations in your film.

I would think any residual radiation levels are negligible. Access to the site would be secured if there was any trace of radiation rather than being used for industrial purposes as it is today. I've not noticed myself glowing in the dark yet

Not quite. There was tripple fencing with dogs loose between fences, watch towers all round and armed guards. And don't forget we are talking about the late 1950's where there was a much reduced terrorist threat. I've been in a live nuclear weapons store more recently as part of my job and things were a lot lot tighter.
