Good capture. Yeah, who cares what camera you used. You'll never broaden your horizon if you don't try different gear. Leave the fanboi stuff for the digital section of the forum.
Looks like a couple of people cared, even if you didn't. Cheers.

I meant who cares that it is not a Pentax camera. Did someone?

My apologies, Tuco. Cheers, again.

B&W "film" shots is the only must. Any format or brand of film camera is fine.

I post so many non Pentax shots, I end up feeling guilty and shooting Pentax. Not that that's any sort of sacrifice, mind you

I'm the one who should apologize. In retrospect my original comment was not clear and easily misconstrued.

it's nice sometime to change the usual body by something ... more ... uncommon ! It gives the plaisure of the unknown, then the plaisure of meeting again the usual body. Shoot a color roll with this : an Agfa Super Silette "LK". it's heavy, nice, but the meter is on the top. Not so easy to always get the proper exposure.
After that i was so happy to meet again my MZ-5n and SuperA

Your monument photos are great work. I really like the depth of field on the angel face.

My introduction to photography was high school also, with a Pentax K1000. My buddy and I burned up so much film and spent a ton of time in the dark room, great times. Went on to Olympus OM-1n then an OM-2 sp. These 2 shots are a couple of the last shots with my Olympus OM-2sp.
I've come full circle now with a Pentax ZX-L. This is far more fun to shoot with.

Doesnīt the GSN have a PC sync port? I think at least some versions of the electro have that...

I have been looking to get one myself, but donīt know yet which version to aim for.. any suggestions?

Btw, This is a great thread with some of the best photos of this site. So tired of looking all those soulless digital pictures...
I think someone was a bit ham-fisted pulling out a sync cord; mine has a PC socket, but doesn't HAVE a PC socket... sorry! Need to get one put back on.

Yes, the GSN/GTN has a hot shoe also. They're all great, but my favourite would be the black 'GTN', the last version. In good condition, they look amazing.. Big, solid, not heavy really, and just a nice RF to have over your shoulder. Easy to use as well. You need an adaptor to use currently available batteries in the chamber, but these are literally a couple of bucks on EB, and work perfectly.

Don't overlook the little Minolta AL-F though, I've seen these go for as little as $20 in mint condition. Simple, shutter priority auto, and an unusual 38mm f/2.7 Rokkor lens. They're a perfect little street camera, quiet, unobtrusive, and LOVE 100ISO B&W. The lens offers a slightly wider than 'normal' FOV, and i found it perfect for candid street shots. Pick a shutter speed, and the camera displays an available aperture from f/16 to /2.7 in the VF. Red markers either side of these indicate incorrect exposure. If you see one, get it!
