Vendee, nice work with the M50 f1.7. The more I shoot it, the more I like that lens. Bravo.

Best,
Kevin
Thanks Kevin. It is a wonderful lens and when you compare it to a modern "kit lens" there is no contest.

No kidding, that second metro shot is great.

Thanks...... the location is really suited to b&w. Really like your third shot of the little girl.

Nice shots!

Abbesses is my old station, my flat was 100 meters from it (direction Sacre Coeur).
Thanks for that. You were lucky to live in Montmartre. We've stayed there 3 or 4 time in the past couple of years. I love Abbesses station with its art nouveau entrance and its association with "Amelie" (we also go to the cafe des 2 moulins in Rue Lepic where she worked). The first time we arrived at Abbesses, we ignored the elevator and walked up the stairs with our luggage. Big mistake...... you obviously know how deep that station is

A few from this past weekend. San Francisco.
Canon 7n with a Canon 24-70L - Such a cheater camera but man does it focus fast. I was really impressed with it. The lens, however, took some getting used to. I don't use zooms and I really struggled getting into a groove with it.
Arista Premium shot at 200, developed in DD-X 1+4 @ 68F, 6.5mins. Happy with the grain, or lack-there-of. These are straight off the negative scans with a Canoscan 9000F.

Nice shots. Don't worry about the "cheater Canon". I turn to my EOS3 with a 24-105L when the shot is important.

LOL!

If you had any idea how many tourists I've been laughing in silence at when waiting for the elevator at the platform level...

Yeah, I was living up in "the village" (as we called it) for 7+ years, it's a nice hood, but it's been changing a lot the last 10-15 years, lots of nice little cafés and bars and other waterholes that have had to give in for fancy clothes stores and touristy "mish-mash" and fancy crap stores as a result of rents going up ridiculously due to the popularity increase, maybe partly after the Amelie movie... (still I do like that movie, it has a really nice message...).

Thanks. I'll post more later, I don't want to spam this page I got the camera from KEH last week. I ordered a regular Elan 7 but they couldn't find one. So they sent me an excellent condition 7n for the same price. Great company.

The lens on your new camera is very sharp in the center. You did a very nice job with focus on the dog. My favorite by far is the third photo though. The railing does a great job leading the eyes.

For a picture to show you need to link to the picture, not a web page.
You posted for the above post.

I corrected it to:

The fourth and fifth images are my favorites -- especially that fifth one. Pretty cool!
