Here´s a few more from the same roll. The first one is my first ever vertical shot taken with the Bronica. It was quite tricky with the waist level finder, but it worked ok in the end.

I find portrait orientation with a WLF easy with a tripod. Handheld, it's an exercise in patience for sure.

I'd be interested in hearing details of your stand development in Rodinal. I've tried for a long time time now to work out a technique that doesn't give me random uneven development with 120 roll and sheet film. I've had to go to a semi-stand that has more agitation.

Odd you had trouble with vertical shots using WLF. I never have any problems with my 6x6 TLR

When I originally posted it, I didn't know much about B&W and had literally just purchased my scanner so I really knew nothing about scanning. I wasn't really happy with how it turned out then so I kinda forgot about it.
3 years later now and I stumbled across the original scan, which thankfully had all the important data, so I decided to give it a re-edit. 3 years of shooting and learning and I feel like I'm just starting to sorta understand what makes a decent B&W image.
After some spot removal, levels adjusting, and some contrast adjusting, I think it turned out well.

Well, my 60 minute rodinal development is semi-stand:

- First pour water into containers and let it stand for a while to let the temperature settle to room temp. Normally temperature is around 23 degrees of celsius.

- Mix the rodinal solution and pour it into developing tank

- Make proper inversions for one minute and let the tank stand for 30 minutes, then make 10 inversions and let it stand for another 30 minutes.

- Use water as a stopper for 15 inversions

- After that add the fix and do 4 inversions per minute for 8 minutes in total

- Rinse with water: 5 inverions and change-10 inversions and change- 15 inversions and change

- Final rinse with deionized water and hang to dry


This is the protocol that has worked for me. I tried to do reduce the inversons in the middle to 3, but the results didn´t look as good as with 10 inversions.
