Thanks ! I agree, it's nice to do it.

i'm still learning, and experimenting but i love the thinking it require to adjust chemicals/times to get what you want.
And it's a good oportunity to try new films

i did my second roll of TriX @1600, it's drying in the shower (the most dust free place of my flat in fact !) but here is a trailer

Pentax K-x, Vivitar S1 V1 70-210 @3.5, 1/125, 100 iso, flash AF 280 @11GN

I must have missed it, I knew what the shot was right away.

Did you go over with the ferry from Seattle, hopefully it’s still running?

I haven’t been to Victoria in years will have to back some time.

Yeah, great shot Kris, always tricky getting the expose right in snow scenes.

Phil, if only our government were snowmen.....we would be able to get rid of them in the thaw next week

I had a good laugh when I read the “snowmen proposal” in the paper yesterday!
Yeah it would be nice if the crew here in B.C. and the Canadian government would vanish! Unfortunately the replacements could be even worse!

That shot was from the summer. I've taken both the Victoria Clipper out of Seattle and driven to Port Angles and take the ferry across the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Victoria.

I just got a new SLR: a RB Graflex Type B 2x3 with a 6x6 back.

My daughter took to it immediately

While I messed up a lot. But managed a few
