Cool pic, did you do that old school disengaging the advance lever or with some "postprocessing" or other new photoshop trick?

thank you, this is done the "old school way".. Pentax LX is so nice for double exposure since it maintains incredibly well the frame position.

As a sidenote, with the LX you can also disengage the lever and return back to a precise frame because the counter decrease in number while manually rewinding

Interesting stuff, I have read the LX manual long time ago, but I don't remember any reference to a correct procedure to do the double exposure, while on other cameras I have (Canon F-1, Leica M5, Almaz 103 and I presume the K2 if memory serves me correctly) there are special procedures (and additional leverage in the case of the Almaz) to do the double exposure in a "safe way".

Did you correct the exposure of the second shot?

I've been very fond of using Kodak BW400CN film especially in older cameras which may have less accurate shutter speeds. Sadly, Kodak have announced they are discontinuing it.

Frak! It's one of my favourite stuff, cheap to develop too, my self portrait with the K1000 is also taken with BW400CN....that's bad news for me.

That shot like all the others of this roll was sheer luck. I got another one with the mould of the neck but it's not that magical:



Actually these moulds were in the showroom of a paint shop in Warwick and they were used for decoration purposes only, but it's clear that the shop manager has some artistic taste as he should to run that business. However these are NOT the shots I'm more proud of that roll, even if I have admit I'm pretty happy of all 37 of them, also because I feared most of them would have come out under or overexposed.

Kodak Medalist II 6x9 with 100mm Ektar lens, Kodak T-Max 100 120-format spooled onto a 620 spool.

This is the first good roll of film through this camera. My first attempt at spooling my own 620 was a disaster. The second attempt worked, but I didn't get it loaded correctly and only got three exposures onto the film. Third time is a charm.

This is one of the lions in front of the New York City Library in Manhattan at 42nd St. & Fifth Ave. I am impressed with the focus I was able to achieve with this 70 year old rangefinder, at least in this picture.

Borrowed a Russian Lubitel TLR from a good friend and ran a roll of Tri-X through it, developed in HC-110. Only had to add some contrast after scanning, which is normal anyway. My first medium format shots!
