Yeah, in my case I used my humble K1000, the stock 55mm f2.0 and no fancy processing or special film.

Nevertheless I'm happy with the result.

Last night I finally got to try out my newly acquired Mod 54. It's a film holder that fits in a standard Paterson system 4 tank and it holds six sheets of 4x5 large format film. I only have one large format camera right now, a very old and beat up Graflex Speed Graphic with a Zeiss Jena Tessar f/4.5 13.5cm lens. I shot six frames of Neopan 100 Acros and developed it in Fuji Super Prodol. Not surprisingly the contrast was a bit low and ultimate sharpness isn't really there (due in some part to user error as the long loupe I use for focusing is pretty flakey.) So anyway, enough for the excuses... I'm just glad something turned out as this sort of opens up some new options for me. Previously I had a nice Wista 45N but sold it since it didn't get enough use. But with the convenience of home developing I just might get interested again.

Caffenol is EASY, safe and works well.

Mix cheap instant coffee, washing soda, and vitamin C powder together and develop in a tank at 12 minutes at about 70 F, rinse with water get all the coffee stuff out, for about 6 minutes, then fix for 6 minutes, rinse rinse rinse, pull the film out hang to dry then scan.

I scan as color, not B/W and that lets me do color balance adjustments to get colorized out of B/W film.

If you want the recipe, I have it, and of course a google for Caffenol-C will bring it up shortly as well.
I bought D-76 powder, but kept seeing caffenol posts, so i decided to try it. Never have mixed the D-76.
My current batch of Caffenol, is about 6 months old and has done about 12 rolls of 120 film.

I think the contrast is softer than it should be, on my films, and someday I will try to boost that, probably.

Really like the third one! And you've got some incredible detail and sharpness in those shots, wow! Is that just the film + dev combo, or is there some post-processing in the mix as well?

Caffenol / Folgernol was the result of some experiments at RIT in the late 90s. From then it was published in Shutterbug (sep 2003) and took off.
At that time 2003 or 04 Pat Gainer, Donald Qualls, BobFowler, and a bunch of people (myself included) began experimenting and sharing results via APUG (Alternative Developers - Coffee and all) and Photo Net.
From Mr Gainer's experiments with Rodinal and vitamin C the idea of adding sodium ascorbate was added to caffenol and it worked great.

I don't understand how applying color balance gets only blue in the sky and green in the grass. Perhaps you can explain that to me.

Below is a a pyro stained BW negative scanned in color. It just gives me a bronze look.
