I use to hike my 4x5 around some but not much anymore. These days any pictures from that camera follow a pattern. They are within close proximity of a car, of things that don't move and nothing spontaneous. And that's why it stays home a lot I suppose. And if you find tray developing a bit tedious after a while, you can daylight tank develop 4x5 sheet film. I've had fine success doing it that way for a long time now.
Yes, the II-N is supposed to be a rebranded Sironar-N. I've also got a 135mm II-N on the way.
Even with small or medium format I generally work from a tripod, so this isn't slowing me down by orders of magnitude. Of course it's new to me so I'm enjoying the learning part. But I can see where tray development could get old. Although at the moment it is the film washing I'm finding most tedious, so I'm on the lookout for one of those siphoning washing tanks.
