Thanks. My first roll of BW film ever really. Very pleased with the results. They just have a 'feel' to them that no amount of Lightroom trickery can reproduce. My wife was even skeptical until I showed these to her. Here are a couple more from the same roll.

I believe that this one was with an orange filter on it

This one was shot semi into the sunlight coming through a window above her

Again, I believe that this had an orange filter on

One's own children are the ultimate muse. Myself included Then they get a little more mobile and become the ultimate form of photographic frustration. Mine are now test subjects for new film and gear, that must be tricked or bribed with candy into compliance.

Very nice. T-Max 100 has great tones and is beautifully smooth-grained.

Glad you had such great results from your first roll. Good work!

Sorry...I could not resist peeking! The exif for the first shot indicates it was processed in Lightroom 6.0 with adjustments made to exposure, contrast, and curves with +36 clarity thrown in for good measure.

Just a little good-natured teasing, no malice intended.

Yeah, I cannot resist playing/ cleaning things just a little bit. They still did not lose the film feel though. I convert digital to B&W all the time. I prefer B&W to color most of the times. But, nothing I can do in LR can reproduce a film look though. I have two more rolls I pick up tomorrow. Cannot wait to see them

Took this 92 year old Goerz Rollfilm Tenax folder, with a Dogmar lens, for a walk, with HP5+, developed in D76 straight; Epson 4490 scan, minimal sharpening

I have had pretty good luck with film emulation, but only for fine grain films. The one thing that is difficult to do is get the great shadow tones and high value definition film is capable of.
