I went under that bridge on a ship in 1996. I wonder if I have any pictures? Nice shot.

Those came out well. What makes the two BWs so different in "colour"? Is there a name for the tones?

The difference is in post processing. They all have the sepia warm tone, because I scan them as color negatives, not black and white. When I develop them, they come out somewhat cold/bluish. The scan process, (as color) gives them the warm tone as the inversion process works.

The two that are not warm toned, I removed all color by converting them to B&W in post processing.

Thanks for looking, and your interest!

Another go at infrared. This time with more confidence and no bracketing. I just kept my aperture wide open and two stops down on the shutter. Starting to do exposure logs as well, this helps a lot.

Pentax 645, 45mm, 720nm filter, AGFA Rollei infrared 400, f2.8 1/15th.

Nice, I really like that film, very fun to experiment with! Nice photos!

I agree, keeping a log is very helpful with it.

Thanks it was fun, even though I forgot my hat at home and got a little to much sun. The film is a little stiffer than the Ilford and I worried about scratching it when I squeegeed before drying but I like the faster ISO. I got a lot of conflicting info online about what ISO to use, so I went with the box speed of 400. AGFA states to use it below 25? I guess it depends on the meter. I don't know enough about the different types, so I went with my experience from bracketing on the Ilford. I gonna wait till autumn or winter to try it again to get more visible tree trunks for contrast. They say the trees reflect less red then but I guess I'll find out for myself.

Canon FTb.
Meyer-Optik Trioplan 50mm f2.9.
Eastman Double-X.

Have had nothing but trouble with this film. Have yet to get the exposure correct, and as such the contrast has just been not there. (Less "black & white" and more "gray & different gray".) This was a rare shot that came close to being correct, though the contrast still needed a significant boost.
