Nice, I need to take a pic of me smoking a toscano Garibaldi then...is this one taken at minimum focusing distance?

Today's contribution:

LX, M85mm f2, XP 2 and a green filter...probably the backlighted subject and the green filter made this pic darker than I expected as the punching bag was red.

M35mm f2.8.

M 85mm f2.

Can't recall, but most likely was at the minimum focusing distance of 45cm.

This is one of the best photos I've seen in many a moon. Er, so to speak.

10x8 takes lots of work. I've spent six hours (possibly all wasted) on this so far, and Flickr won't upload it.

So here it is from another site. Chamonix 10x8, Nikkor-M 300mm/f9, Ilford Hp5+ @640, Diafine in BTZS tubes, Epson V850 scan:

Really liking this one... and not just for the obvious reasons...

But for the two echoes of the strips... from the road markings and the bokeh stripes in the top left, that really balance this strong image.

Where did you happen to get your hands on Neopan 400? Really keen to try some myself. Looks like Tri-x but with deeper, richer blacks.
