My favorite Dr. Who was and always will be the Fourth, played by Tom Baker. The Baker episodes are probably my favorite hokey, comic, sci-fi shows. "Would you care for a jelly baby?"

The earlier and later Doctors, only some of which I have seen, were never as fun to watch. Later incarnations' shows having less cheesy special effects didn't really make much difference to me. Also, some of the earlier and later Doctors struck me as a bit pretentious. Baker's pretensions were always intended to be objects of laughter.

My favourite Doctor Who was Sylvester McCoy. Not the best actor but he introduced a measure of mystery which worked extremely well and made the character much more interesting, with a real past.

Of the modern Doctors, the only one who was watchable at all was Ecclestone. The others are terrible, terrible attempts to copy some of their predecessors, not to mention the poor stories and the overly-humanity-centric bias of the whole show. I regard modern Doctor Who as a travesty.

You're really getting some fantastic tones from that XP2. I've never used C41 B&W photos as it makes no sense for me - they're more expensive than most traditional B&W films and development instructions might be harder to find.

I agree. I've had a couple of rolls of expired XP2 super in my fridge for a while but I've just shot one roll at 100 ISO and when it warms up a bit I'll develop it in HC 110 to see what I get.

First try with XP2 Super at ISO 50:
