Adox claims their R09 is Rodinal created by the scientists from the Agfa factory. I have a small bottle also. I also have some old stock Agfa ADX 100 in the fridge. I’m planning on grabbing a couple of rolls and developing them in the R09 and compare the negatives to some of my old ones done in Rodinal.

The rain won't stop. During a break in the rain I finally shot a few test rolls on my new gear. You have to zone focus with this camera.

Fuji GX617, 90/5.6 ( = 20mm horizontally in small format), FP4+

R09 "Special" is supposed to produce finer grain than standard Rodinal/R09

Pepe, that Ferrania P30 looks to be very interesting. It appears to have a very fine grain, which I find appealing. Is it available in shops on this side of the pond, or only from Ferrania directly? I note that Freestyle doesn't carry it.

Click here for you lucky folks in North America. Us lesser mortals in the rest of the world have to wait a few weeks more

This is the place to order, they sell out as soon as they announce they have some. There are only six guys in the factory trying to revive the old glory.

Give Me a Break!

Stayed at a hotel on Sepulveda Blvd., Los Angeles to see a independent movie screening. Sunday morning it is quiet in LA so I decided to walk with my Canonet while my wife was packing to go home. We don't have a light rail system where I live and could not believe how far we have come from the old days as a kid when the signs at the train station pointed us to the trains.

LOL, the sign would be smaller if they told you the things you could do instead of what you can't.

More Pentax shots

I recently got a Pentax LX and am still learning what it does. Here are some shots on Ilford XP2 400. I developed it in Rodinal stand development, 50min. I used yellow and orange filter in some of the shots. Not sure which ones.

For the roll your own, the Delta 3200 data sheet has development times from EI 400 to EI 12500 for good number of developers. Here I tried it as a 400 film some years ago.

Delta 3200 @ EI 400
