Tuco, how do you like the Fuji? I’ve been looking at MF cameras and they seem to be lightweight (compared to Pentax 67).

I liked it enough to get another one when the previous one shutter broke. And in the last couple of years it has seen the the most action out of all my cameras. But your milage will vary. I like it because I have other medium format cameras I can use. It's like riding a single speed bicycle. And I'm surprised how many pictures you can a actually take with a fixed lens camera when you have to.

The GSW690 is okay in weight but it is pretty big. And it's pretty robust. You'll be trading one attribute for another. And with only 8 frames per 120 roll it can be inconvenient changing rolls so often sometimes. It's not a camera system so if you're looking for one camera to do it all this is not the choice.

From Wikipedia: "Nicolas-Charles Bochsa (1791–1856), harpist to Napoleon, and subject of one of the cemetery's more scandalous tales. He eloped from England with the operatic soprano Anna Bishop, wife of the composer Sir Henry Bishop, and toured in America before arriving in Australia, where they completed just one successful concert together before he unexpectedly died. Anna, still the wife of Sir Henry, raised in Bochsa's honour the most ornate monument in the cemetery, with a statue of herself weeping disconsolately. The mourning figure was later smashed."

Nice one. And what a great background story! I knew of Bochsa from his Nocturnes for harp and cello, co-written with Jean-Louis Duport (two of which I have played), but I was not up to speed on Bochsa's private life. Thanks for that!

Great shot, nice textures brought forward. Which leads me to ponder -- surely the owner of that multi-million dollar Malibu home can afford the price of a board?

All I know is it looks like it was built for a train at one time but now it's a foot path. I guess the safety factor went down from 10 to 9, good-to-go!

No doubt you've heard about the re-introduction of Kodak's TMZ. I went looking for some I did back when. I found this of what looks like trying it out on a mountain landscape. And it looks like I'm using a ME Super with a 50/1.2.
