Another from a Memorial Day Parade.
HP5+, Yellow filter.

It's our bones, eh? Did you grow up in WA?
Love the servicemen shot above. I had a close friend from High school who went to Annapolis with the Corps and eventually served on the Honor Guard, among many things to follow. Can't imagine our paths being much more different since the early days.

Thanks. I mostly grew up in the Pacific NW but have memories of a couple of other states we lived in. I went to the coast a lot growing up.

First time I've used Retro 400S, seems OK. (P67ii & 35/4.5 fisheye using red filter)

It looks good. I've shot some 400S and Superpan 200 last summer. I'm still establishing a working development time with one of my developers. I liked the 400S results better than the Superpan 200 so far.

Thanks!

I did try Retro 80S once in 135, but will have to try it in 120 as well to compare the two films.

Some nice street scenes. How is the exposure of your film? I ask because the unexposed areas of the film common to the sprockets is showing other than the film's deepest black. That area is the density of the film's base plus fog and the deepest black the film can produce and well call it zone 0. It's being reproduced around zone 1. You can use that as a guide when adjusting the contrast curve of the scan. And it also can indicate if the scene is under exposed in general.

(TBH, the sprockets add zilch to the pictures)

I like them. It's just an aesthetic thing. But I was thinking what @tuco mentioned when I saw them. But it doesn't really matter.
What I do find rather funny is the many instafiltermatic-azizers that *add* sprocket holes to frame a shot. Pop up in pic feeds everywhere (though less often it seems lately) and I always giggle at seeing the same sprocket holes and "film code" in the same position for a each and every shot someone posts. It's "retro".
