I've become obsessed with my Agfa Billy 1. I've just done another roll. When there's only eight photos to play with you have to be extra careful. For example I wound on twice and lost a shot. Then I didn't wind on and got a double exposure. Two out of eight lost to idiocy. It really concentrates the mind (well, sometimes). The focusing is also unforgiving. I think if you need sharp infinity you really need to focus on infinity rather than rely solely on zone focusing. I'll experiment more next weekend. I have a Watameter Rangefinder but usually try to guess.

Neopan Acros 100, Ilfotec LC29, Epson V550.

My Mamiyaflex C2 also has a film advance that isn't linked to shutter release. So far I have amazingly avoided missed frames and multiple exposures, but I had to ruin a couple of rolls before I figured out how the lens lock baffle worked.

Pretty impressive, I'd say.

I would not have thought an Agfa Billy was anything to write home about, OK so you are starting with a 6 x 9 negative but those shots are pin sharp, most impressed.

I bought a Gnome rangefinder in the early 60's, most useless piece of equipment I ever bought, even after placing a bit of a translucent yellow sweet rapper on the moving image window so I could see it, it was nearly impossible to get it to work.

I suppose this is the sort of shot you get if you keep your developer in accordion bottles...

I'm finally getting some moderately usable scans of some medium format stuff I photographed recently. These were both taken in a slot canyon nearby. Pentax 67, Takumar 55/3.5, TMax100, Rodinal for 60 minutes.
