Here are two portraits of my boy Rio. Ilford XP2 film.
That ME-F looks in excellent condition. It takes good pictures too.

It is in great condition, and everything works as it should. The autofocus is actually not bad considering it is a 36 year old camera.

Another new film I'm trying out is CiniStill Double X @250 ISO (Super A & K18/3.5 & K15/3.5 with built-in orange filter)

The recommended developer is Kodak D96, which my Lab does not have, so it was done in ILFOTEC DD instead.

Interesting. That CiniStill XX @ EI 250 has more grain than 400TX @ EI 1600.

Would be interesting how Double X would fare in the recommended developer. I only bought two rolls as it's pricey and probably won't shoot it again. CiniStill does sell the proper D96 developer kits, if someone shot XX a lot.

You need to start rolling your own, Phil Apparently, Kodak has made the formula available. You can whip up your own D-96 From Scratch.

It is a MQ borax similar to D76@1+1 but I normally use ID68 or Rodinal 1+100
Used to be cheap in cine cans, or short ends alas yesterday!

Thanks Charles. It is working as well as the day it left the factory. Must have had a good custodian for all these years
