Thank you for the comments.
Both - I used a yellow filter for the original shot but then accentuated it with the processing

Foma 100 Classic film home developed in Caffenol CH for 15 minutes and scanned via Epson V600 ... taken with a ME Super and Spiratone (Soligor) 20/2.8. All images shot last weekend in Poitiers.

I like the CH recipe with the Foma 100 and I have a roll of Foma 200 in a Canonet QL 17 that I need to finish ... curious as to what the results will be with the CH recipe for the 200.

Nice shots! I agree, Fona 100 works very well with Caffenol. I’ve done a bit of Foma 400 with Caffenol and really liked the results. I’ve never shot the 200 so I’ll be looking foreword to seeing your results.

Pentax SV, Ilford HP5+

I finally put a roll through my dad's Pentax SV. I don't have any memory of him ever using it. I'm pretty sure he moved on to automated point-and-shoots by the time we came along. When I was a kid I found it in a drawer and every now and then I'd take it out to mess with it, without any film, of course. The knobs, levers, dials, lenses, and mirror were fascinating. For some reason, I took a metal tool, maybe a screwdriver, and started scratching the mirror. When he passed away a few years ago, I took it from my mom and dad's house thinking I would get it fixed up and back in shooting shape. I sent it off to Eric and asked if he could replace the mirror if he had a spare. He sent back the camera all fixed up, but with the original mirror. I'm kind of glad he did.

This is the camera that lead me to a Pentax K100D when I decided to jump on the DSLR bandwagon. I wanted to be able to use his old M42 Takumars. Now I've come almost full circle and regularly shoot with an MX, KX, and ME Super. I'll be adding the SV to the regular rotation.

Great story. Thanks for sharing.

Feels like most of this roll and another I ran through mis-metered, with everything coming out quite unexposed. This one could be saved in post, at least.

Just went out for a graveyard stroll with my newly acquired Auto-Takumar 55mm f/2 to see what it might do. Not exactly professional grade photos, but I really do like the 'TV static' kind of thing the Auto-Tak does with the out-of-focus areas (10 aperture blades... woot!), a very warm and fuzzy lens. Film is HP5Plus, camera was SP1000 and shots were between f/2 and f/5.6.
