Is it just me or do the walkers appear to be walking on air?

That’s what intrigues me about the shot. The way the light was coming through the trees onto the trail really played with the image.

Yeah, it's just you. On a more serious note, just you saying that bias my eyes when I flipped back a page to look at it I think.

Nice shots. What developer did you use for the HP5?

First test roll in a recent acquisition ... a Tower Type-3 rangefinder with an Industar-22 50/3.5 (Red P) lens shot pretty much wide open. It was a dark rainy day so I went to the train/bus station.

The film is Fomapan 200 and home developed in Caffenol CH which left some traces on the last image. I am changing soda ingredient since the one is use now does not dissolve very well ... we'll see.

You are so plush with cool cameras. I have handled the Tower/Nicca camera and it is a very sweet tool and one that I will buy if I ever see one again.

Thanks. I have been quite lucky at being at the right place at the right time ... have had some really nice acquisitions lately. The Tower feels great and brick solid, but it may have a problem at 1/500. I think that the curtains are not opening correctly here ... I have a another "test" roll in it and will take notes this time in order to figure out better what's going on ... Salut, J

I'm not a bird person, but I'd say those are starlings (?), doing their late afternoon synchronized flying.

Very nice! Do you only shoot the 500cm with a tripod, or do you ever brave handheld shots?
